A Description of our 20th Anniversary Portrait:

At first glance there is one interconnected object in this painting. The family is at the core of what really matters most. Each family member is connected through shared values, shared work interests and a focus on collecting shared memories and experiences. The opulence and fleeting nature of accumulating material possessions is not what this family all about. The painting alludes to this in it’s uncluttered simple shapes.

Central to this painting is the blue shape. This blue is strong and has a quality that speaks to integrity and capability. It says, “Here is something to place your faith in. Here is someone you can trust.” This form rises up and yet is well supported. It is meant to reflect how much of a builder Don is … he is intuitive, observant and caring and consequently is both a business builder and a crafter of vibrant resilient relationships.
